Chapter 12: Chapter 12: Is She a Little Fairy?
Reborn in the 1980s Becoming the Group's Darling Little Lucky Treasure
Right now, Gu Mo’s head was full of question marks.
The chives in his mouth tasted so delicious that he couldn’t stop eating them.
Was this really just chives?
No, that wasn’t the point.
Shouldn’t the focus be on Yu Nuannuan?
Daibao picked up a few more stalks of chives and slowly shuffled back to Yu Nuannuan’s side.
Yu Nuannuan was propping herself up with her hands on her legs, but her little body still swayed from side to side.
She couldn’t help it—she was just too little, and sitting for a long time made her restless.
But Yu Nuannuan didn’t just flop down. Instead, she tilted her little face up, looking at Gu Mo with an innocent expression.
Making this face was just a habit for Yu Nuannuan.
In her heart, she didn’t really care what Gu Mo thought.
After all, what kind of thoughts could a one-and-a-half-year-old baby even have?
Just as she was thinking this, Yu Nuannuan saw Gu Mo reach out his chubby, soft little hand and pinch her cheek.
Yu Nuannuan ate well and slept soundly. Even though she was only six months old, her cheeks were plenty plump. Gu Mo didn’t use much force, so it didn’t hurt, but her cheeks were stretched out, making it hard to close her mouth.
Yu Nuannuan’s eyes went wide, full of accusation as she stared at Gu Mo.
Was Gu Mo bullying her because she couldn’t talk?
Wasn’t he?!
Gu Mo stared at Yu Nuannuan’s face for a long moment before letting go and sitting down beside her. He handed her a stalk of chives. “Eat!”
Something this tasty, and made by Yu Nuannuan no less—of course she should try it too.
Just then, Chen Qiaoqin walked in and saw the scene, immediately bursting out laughing. “Daibao, Nuannuan is still so little! She can’t eat chives yet! And you shouldn’t—”
Before she could finish, she saw that Gu Mo had already stuffed another chive leaf into his own mouth.
“Hurry, hurry! Spit it out!” Chen Qiaoqin rushed over to try to fish the chives out of Gu Mo’s mouth, but he just turned his head and dodged her hand.
“Tasty!” Gu Mo’s babyish voice reached Chen Qiaoqin’s ears, making her pause in surprise. “What could possibly taste good about raw chives?”
No sooner had she said this than Gu Mo turned and stuffed the chive he’d meant for Yu Nuannuan straight into Chen Qiaoqin’s mouth.
The move was so sudden that Chen Qiaoqin was caught completely off guard.
But after her brief surprise, she just laughed and started chewing.
It was only chives, after all—eating them raw was fine.
But after just one bite, Chen Qiaoqin was stunned!
If it weren’t already chewed up, she’d have wanted to spit it out and see for herself—was this really chives?
Since when did chives taste this good? How had she never known?
Seeing the look on Chen Qiaoqin’s face, Yu Nuannuan was a little surprised.
She distinctly remembered that Gu Mo had made the same face when he first tasted the chives.
Could it be that these chives were special somehow?
Yu Nuannuan was puzzled, but unable to ask, so she could only look at Chen Qiaoqin with hopeful eyes, wishing she’d say something.
Chen Qiaoqin reluctantly swallowed the chives in her mouth, then looked at Yu Nuannuan with shining eyes. “Nuannuan, were you a little fairy in your past life?”
Yu Nuannuan: “???”
Her memories from her past life were still perfectly intact in her mind—how could she possibly be some little fairy?
Gu Mo heard this and looked over, his round, chubby face full of seriousness. “She is a little fairy!”
